Effective Date: May 24, 2025
This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Bluedot Technology, LLC ("DocuPal," "we," "us," or "our") may provide refunds for our subscription services (the "Service"). Our goal is to ensure fairness and user satisfaction while maintaining a clear process.
This policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service and Pricing Page.
Eligibility for a Refund
We understand that circumstances may arise where you may request a refund. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis, primarily focused on fair use and user satisfaction.
However, you will generally not be eligible for a refund if:
- You have utilized sixty percent (60%) or more of the credits, features, or usage limits allocated to your current subscription period. Usage is determined based on our system logs.
Submitting a Refund Request
To request a refund, you must submit your request through one of the following channels:
- Support Ticket: Via our designated support system.
- Email: By sending an email to our support or billing department at help@docupal.io or billing@docupal.io.
Your request should include:
- Your account email address.
- The subscription plan for which you are requesting a refund.
- The date of the subscription purchase.
- A clear and concise reason for your refund request, detailing any issues or dissatisfaction.
Processing Your Request
- Response Time: We aim to respond to your refund request within three (3) to seven (7) business days of its receipt.
- Review Process: Each refund request will be carefully reviewed by our team. We may contact you for further information or clarification.
- Decision: The decision to grant a refund, and the amount of any refund (full or partial), is at the sole discretion of DocuPal, based on the circumstances of the request and adherence to this policy.
Refund Issuance
- Payment Method: If a refund is approved, it will be processed and credited back to the original method of payment used for the purchase.
- Partial Refunds: In certain situations, a partial refund may be granted if only a portion of the service period or allocated credits remains unused, and the 60% usage threshold has not been met. The amount of the partial refund will be determined by DocuPal.
- Deductions: Any applicable taxes, payment processing fees, or other non-recoverable third-party fees incurred by DocuPal in relation to your subscription may be deducted from the refund amount. You will be informed if any such deductions apply.
- Timing: Once a refund is processed by us, the time it takes for the funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Non-Refundable Circumstances
Beyond the 60% usage limit, other circumstances where refunds will generally not be provided include (but are not limited to):
- Requests made after the current subscription period has ended.
- Failure to cancel a subscription before its automatic renewal date (unless otherwise required by applicable law).
- Discounts or promotional offers, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the offer terms.
- Violation of our Terms of Service or Fair Use Policy leading to account suspension or termination.
Policy Changes
DocuPal reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated policy on our website. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Refund Policy.
